Abstraction Records™ is an electronic dance music label founded in 2006 in Dnepropetrovsk, Ukraine, and later moved to Chicago in the United States of America. Main genres of music on which the label is mostly focused are uplifting / progressive trance and progressive house. Abstraction Records™ is exclusively managed by Critical Rhythm label management, and strives for excellence in every aspect of music it releases. The label can offer everything a label should offer to its artist, including but not limited to world-class promotion among the best acts in the scene and release on various types of media through its heavy distribution network. The label's artist and resident DJ roster contains many well-known and heavily supported acts in the genres of music Abstraction is focused on.
Abstraction Records™ operates three sub-labels, which are: Abstraction Deep - a sub-label dedicated to quality music in the styles of deep and progressive. Abstraction Tech - a sub-label with a slight shift towards the experimental sound, which is focused on music in the styles of tech and electro trance. Abstraction Digital - a sub-label where most digital-only releases can be found. Perfect Groove Foundation - a sister label operated by Abstraction Records, which is mainly focused on minimal techno and tech house music.
